Coaches:

Bishop McDowell Athletic Association cordially invites you to participate in the "Magic Classic" preseason Parochial Grade School Basketball Tournament to be held November 7 through November 30, 2008. All games will be played at the Hough Building (formally St. Wendelin School) in Carrick on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only. No games will be scheduled for weekday school nights unless an unusual circumstance arises. In this case, the teams involved will be notified ahead of time. Boys JV and Varsity will begin play the weekend of November 7nd; Girls JV and Varsity will begin play the weekend of November 14th.

This is a single elimination tournament with a consolation game (second game) for teams that are eliminated in the first round of play. Diocesan rules will apply.

Individual and team trophies will be awarded to the first and second place teams with a maximum of 12 individual trophies per team. Team trophies will be awarded to the third and fourth place teams.

The entry fee for the 2008 Magic Classic Basketball Tournament remains at $85.00 per team.

Reserve your spot by filling out the on-line registration form by clicking here. Your check can be made payable to BMAA and it can be brought to your first game of the tournament. The registration form needs to be received no later than Friday, October 31, 2008.
